He was a sweet and loving person in his own unique way. His name was Lewis, he was my friend, my cousin, he was special in every way.
He left this world so tragically I never could understand. I bet the Angels was singing in heaven to have such a special young man.
We grew up together, we played and had a ball. when we were kids we got boo boo's and there were times when we would fall.
We always got up and went on our way. Shook off the tears and then again we would play.
As time went on we went our seperate ways. We were young adults, with no time to play.
Who would ever thought such a sad day would come. When my mom called and said, "our sweet Lewis is gone." I sat there breathless couldn't believe it was true. He was to young, I thought, this couldn't be true.
He was loved by so many, he was special to his dad and mom. How will we help her and find the right words to say? How will we all get through the next few days?
He has been with the Lord several years to this day. I have grown up now and changed in so many ways. But I will never forget his gentle smile on his face and I know Lewis is with us and in our hearts to stay.
He is walking in God's Garden. Watching the birds and watching over us too. At night when his mom lays down to sleep, he whispers "goodnight mom" "I LOVE YOU."
